Shipping from China to Indonesia

Sea LCL from 0.1 CBM, sea FCL, and air freight — consolidated in Guangzhou, cleared through Indonesian customs, and quoted as one all-in rate from IDR 5,750,000/CBM. This page is the whole process, including the parts that are not ours.

The process, step by step

  1. 1

    Buy from your supplier

Order from 1688, Taobao, Alibaba, Tmall, or a factory directly. You can pay the supplier yourself, or use our supplier payment service if you have no RMB account.

  2. 2

    Ship to our Guangzhou warehouse

Give the supplier our warehouse address and your marking code. Domestic freight inside China is arranged by the supplier and is not part of our rate.

  3. 3

    We receive, check, and consolidate

Cartons are counted, measured, and photographed on arrival. Multiple suppliers consolidate into one shipment so you pay for one CBM total, not several minimums.

  4. 4

    Sea or air departure

Sea LCL and FCL sail on a weekly cycle; air departs more frequently. The mode is chosen at booking based on your volume, value, and deadline.

  5. 5

    Indonesian customs clearance

Duty, VAT, and import income tax are handled and already priced into the all-in rate. You do not receive a separate tax bill afterwards.

  6. 6

    Warehouse arrival, then delivery

Goods land at our Indonesian warehouse. Domestic delivery to your address is quoted separately, and freight is settled after arrival.

Frequently asked questions

How long does sea freight from China to Indonesia take?

Roughly 21–28 days from departure to our Indonesian warehouse, depending on the destination port and consolidation cycle. Add the time your supplier needs to get goods to Guangzhou, plus the domestic leg at the end.

How long does air freight take?

Typically 5–10 days. It makes sense for urgent, high-value, seasonal, or light-but-expensive cargo, and for samples ahead of a bulk order.

What is the difference between LCL and FCL?

LCL means your cargo shares a container with other shippers — you pay per CBM and can start from 0.1 CBM. FCL means you take a whole container, which becomes cheaper per CBM once your volume is large enough to fill roughly 15 CBM or more.

Do I need an import licence or NPWP?

For consolidated shipments handled through our service, you do not need your own importer identification. If you want to import in your own company name, you need the correct Indonesian licences — talk to us first, because the document chain has to match the ownership chain.

What cannot be shipped?

Dangerous goods, batteries outside approved packing, branded goods without authenticity evidence, and product categories that require Indonesian certification you do not hold — cosmetics, supplements, food, and wireless devices are the common ones. Check with us before you pay the supplier, not after.

Can you inspect goods before shipping?

Yes. Quality inspection at the Guangzhou warehouse is available as an add-on. It is worth it on a first order with a new supplier, where the alternative is discovering the problem after 25 days at sea.
