China Indonesia door to door all in shipping should mean a written, cargo-specific route with named endpoints, included services, exclusions, and responsibilities. It should not be interpreted as every possible cost from supplier payment to unloading. For approved sea-freight categories, Chindo Cargo’s published all-in scope covers sea freight, customs, import taxes, and movement to an Indonesian warehouse.
Goods cost, supplier transport to the China warehouse, local delivery to the final address, extra packing, insurance, and unloading are not automatically included. The quotation controls the actual scope.
Define both doors before comparing quotes
“Door” can refer to a supplier factory, a China warehouse, an Indonesian warehouse, a business address, a project site, or a specific handover point. Write the collection and delivery addresses instead of relying on the label.
For the China side, confirm whether the supplier delivers to the nominated warehouse or requires collection. For Indonesia, confirm whether the service ends at the Chindo Cargo warehouse or continues to a final address under a separate local-delivery arrangement.
Use the English China-to-Indonesia shipping page for the international route. If final delivery involves islands, restricted access, large pieces, cranes, or staged unloading, use the Indonesia project-cargo service for a route-specific plan.
Separate included, separate, and conditional items
A good quotation labels each service clearly. The following table is a scope discussion tool, not a universal promise.
| Cost or task | Published position | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Sea freight | Included for approved all-in sea categories | Cargo, route, and quotation validity |
| Customs and import taxes | Included under that approved scope | Product eligibility and legal arrangement |
| Movement to Indonesian warehouse | Included under that approved scope | Named handover warehouse |
| Goods purchase | Not automatically included | Supplier invoice and payment route |
| Supplier to China warehouse | Not automatically included | Delivery or collection responsibility |
| Final Indonesian delivery | Not automatically included | Address, access, vehicle, and endpoint |
| Extra packing, insurance, unloading | Not automatically included | Requested level and separate price |
Air freight, FCL, purchases, exports, and special cargo follow the written quotation or invoice rather than a generic sea-consolidation description. Review the shipping-cost planning page before comparing offers.
Confirm product eligibility before payment
All-in wording does not override product restrictions. Provide the material, function, brand, model, intended use, and special characteristics such as batteries, liquids, food contact, wireless capability, chemicals, or wood.
Check current government requirements through the official Indonesia National Single Window. HS classification, restrictions, permits, and importer arrangements depend on the actual goods. Do not ask a supplier to use a vague description to fit a preferred rate category.
If your business does not hold the relevant import setup, discuss the documented options through the undername import service. The quotation should identify the transaction structure rather than hiding it behind “all-in.”
Prepare the shipment for a clean handover
Send a commercial invoice, packing list, package count, packed dimensions, gross weights, supplier address, cargo readiness date, and destination. The product description and quantities should agree across documents.
Standard inspection checks packages or cartons against the packing list. Wooden packing is not automatically opened for a per-unit count. If you need functional tests, measurements, colour checks, detailed quantity checks, or factory inspection, request a deeper China quality-control service before departure.
Record carton marks and take packaging photographs. If several suppliers deliver to one warehouse, use a consolidation reference so receiving records can be reconciled before release.
Understand payment and release timing
For consolidated import freight, payment is usually due after the goods arrive in Indonesia and customs clearance is completed, before local delivery. This does not mean the goods purchase is deferred; supplier payment follows the separate purchase arrangement.
Request written payment terms and invoice references. For FCL, exports, sourcing, and special services, rely on the quotation or invoice rather than assuming the consolidated-freight timing applies.
The sea-freight estimate is generally 25–35 working days after vessel departure. It is not a guarantee and does not automatically include supplier production, China collection, warehouse processing, customs review, or the final local-delivery appointment.
Use a five-point scope check
Before approving a booking, verify:
- Goods: exact description, eligibility, quantity, and packed data.
- Origin: supplier address and responsibility for China warehouse delivery.
- Core service: freight, customs, taxes, and Indonesian warehouse handover as written.
- Destination: local-delivery address, access, unloading, and receiver.
- Commercial terms: price, currency, validity, payment point, assumptions, and exclusions.
Do not accept “everything included” without the table behind it. Equally, do not assume a separately quoted service indicates an error; final delivery and special handling vary by shipment.
Frequently asked questions
Does all-in include buying the goods?
No. Goods purchase is not automatically part of the published sea all-in freight scope. Sourcing or purchasing must be agreed separately.
Does door-to-door include unloading inside my building?
Only if the written quotation explicitly includes that endpoint and unloading responsibility.
Are customs duties always fixed inside the rate?
The published approved sea scope can include import taxes, but eligibility and the legal arrangement must be confirmed for the actual product. Government requirements still apply.
Prepare one scope sheet with the two addresses, goods, packages, documents, final-delivery access, and requested extras. Submit it through the door-to-door import service and ask for every line to be marked included, separate, or not applicable.
